, is GW's main career services office that helps students realize and advance their career and professional goals. Through personal career coaching, professional interpretations of career assessments, specialized industry coaching and events, along with student employment and employer development programs, they connect students with premier internship and job opportunities with top-tier employers. The career services team is committed to creating an antiracist, innovative, energized and positive environment for students to discover their best selves.

The Program Associate position responsibilities align with providing project management support of centralized strategic and operational plans for the Center for Career Services operations and interdisciplinary teams.Position works with unit leads to coordinate and support the administration and implementation of signature initiatives including Fellowships and student funding programs. Duties include:
Collaborates with
CCS
management and campus partners on the delivery and evaluation of unit signature initiatives and career outcomes assessments such as the First Destination Survey, National Alumni Career Mobility Survey(
NACM
)and fellowship programs.
Support management of special programs including the Knowledge In Action Career Internship Fund (
KACIF
), Career Quest, UN 360, and support K-12 career readiness programs.
Provide administrative assistance and program support for Fellowship Programs.
Manage communications and outreach for the Center to include
CSS
newsletters, social media campaigns, and general website maintenance.
Supports special requests and campus engagement activities as needed.
Reports to Center for Career Services Administrative Manager with a dotted line to the Interdisciplinary Career Services Specialist. This position is based at GW's Foggy Bottom Campus in Washington, DC. The incumbent may perform other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Additional Required Licenses/Certifications/Posting Specific Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a university career services, student services, student success or related.
Program and project management experience in a matrix and team-based structure.
Demonstrated ability to work across diverse groups and contribute to inclusivity in the campus community.
Strong organizational, written and presentation communication skills.
Experience with programmatic assessment and evaluation methods, practices, and tools; background in integrating and analyzing engagement data to inform decision making.
Excellent technical skills including knowledge of and experience working with web-based career platforms (Handshake, PeopleGrove, VMock), communication and collaboration tools (GSuite, Twitter and LinkedIn).
Experience with marketing and outreach.
Typical Hiring Range
$48,370.44 - $66,469.34
