What You Will Do:
Under direct supervision of an RN who is physically present on the unit, the Nursing Graduate will perform focus assessments after the initial assessment or after the first assessment of the shift is performed by an RN. The Nursing Graduate will perform and document routine clinical tasks/procedures taught within the nursing graduate's generic nursing program. Communication with the RN is pivotal to their role, to assist with appropriate progression of the patient's plan of care. Patients served include adult through older adult.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Graduation from an accredited nursing school of nursing or university; eligible to apply for Maryland State Board license. Must be accepted into the Baltimore Washington Medical Centers Novice RN internship program.
