Program Goal
Summer Partners for Language and Learning
(SPELL) provides Multilingual Learners theme-based language development activities in the morning and enrichment experiences provided by community partners in the afternoon.
SPELL Parent Paraprofessional Intern
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supervising children in informal and formal settings
Ability to support children in learning activities
Ability to supervise children in recreation activities
Ability to collaborate and function effectively as a team member
Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
Reliable and ability to maintain a schedule
Bilingual/multilingual and ability to communicate with diverse students and families
Terms of Employment:
Seasonal/Yearly Appointment
Stipend: $25 per hour worked
Reports to:
District Director of Summer Programs and Director of the SPELL Elementary Programs
