Sustainability Academy is accepting applications for an Academic Interventionist Long-Term Substitute.
Essential skills include comfort, competence and knowledge in providing academic interventions for elementary (k-5) grade set. Experience with co-teaching and/or collaborative teaching practices desired.

Required:
Experience in math instruction/interventions
Experience in literacy instruction/interventions
School experience at the elementary level
Knowledge of best practices regarding classroom culture protocols
Knowledge of elementary research based best practices
Preferred:
Training and experience with English Language Learners
Evidence of strong connection with students and families.
Experience in a professional/teaching learning community
Knowledge of assessments and use of data to inform instruction
Experience in implementing inclusive practices
Strong communication skills as evidenced through quality of resume and cover letter
The Sustainability Academy is the country's first elementary school focused entirely on Education for Sustainability, located in the Old North End of Burlington, Vermont.
