**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instructional Designer to join our team on a part-time basis and support our IT Modernization and Technical Certifications Program. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality learning materials, including online courses, training modules, and other instructional materials.
Reporting to the Program Director, this grant supported role will improve the institution's digital learning infrastructure. By supporting the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. online program, this program will add technical certifications, specifically CISCO and Microsoft, to their portfolio of certificate offerings through industry and other educational institution engagements.
**This is a Grant Funded Position
Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with subject matter experts to design and develop high-quality learning materials, including online courses, training modules, and other instructional materials
Conduct needs assessments and analyze learning needs to identify appropriate learning solutions
Design and develop instructional materials that are engaging, effective, and aligned with program goals and objectives
Use instructional design principles and best practices to develop instructional materials that promote active learning and knowledge retention
Develop assessments and evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of learning materials and make recommendations for improvement
Use learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning technologies to develop and deliver online courses and training modules
Collaborate with program stakeholders to ensure that learning materials meet program requirements and quality standards
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in instructional design and e-learning technologies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field
At least 2 years of experience in instructional design or related field
Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, e-learning technologies, and LMS platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and program stakeholders
Experience with IT modernization and technical certifications programs is desirable
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, or Lectora is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in project management tools and software
Understanding of IT modernization and technical certifications programs is desirable
Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum is a plus
