Job Summary
Under limited supervision, provides nutritional screening and assessment for patients with diabetes; calculates and plans diets; educates patients and/ or family members on diabetes and/or nutritional needs of the patients in an ambulatory care setting. Patients served include pediatric through adult-geriatric. This position is funded by the HSCRC Regional Partnership Catalyst Diabetes Grant from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2025.

What You Need to Be Successful:
To qualify for the position, the candidate must have Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and be a Registered Dietician. A Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification is preferred. One-year experience as clinical dietitian in an acute care facility is preferred.
