The Early Head Start Finance Grant Manager provides ongoing, prompt, and accurate fiscal reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and program directors. Works with the EHS on budgeting and reporting. Responsible for all fiscal and reporting deadlines for EHS.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Working with Head Start and Lumin financial tracking and reporting systems
• Performing all procedural and reporting items related to:
o quarterly, semi-annual and annual filings
o monthly drawdowns
o maintaining a tracking document of original grant as well as additional grants
o writing the budget narratives for grants, creating the GABI and inputting the budgeted numbers into HSES
o keeping an eye on other metrics such as administrative cost ratio, Non-federal share
o creating Policy Council reports, projections and variance explanations Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Experience with Head Start/Early Head Start Financial management.
• Detailed oriented, deadline driven and proven accuracy.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and other data base software.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
